We took a slip in Barra de Navidad and enjoyed resort life for a few weeks. Right after Christmas, we hopped on a plane and flew to Mexico City for our interview with the French Embassy to apply for our Long Stay Visa in preparation for our upcoming stay in French Polynesia. While in Mexico city, we took advantage our time there to explore and turned this amazing city and its beautiful neighborhood, food, and art. Back in Barra de Navidad, for new year's week, our daughter and grandson came to join us and spent a week with us at the Grand Isla resort marina.
