Playa Coyote the Beautiful!

In late afternoon of 4/25 we decided to move a few miles down to Playa Coyote to meet previous boat friends John and Amanda on Amandina for dinner at Bertha's restaurant. The chicken was amazing (we went back to next day for chicken again). Next morning (4/26) we decided to dinghy over to

Bahai Burro to go check it out, see the Petroglyphs and hike up the hill behind Bahia Burro.

We decided to stay one more day (4/27) and go visit Mulege by car 15 miles away. We walked from the beach 100 yds to Hwy 1 next the Bertha's restaurant and started hitch-hiking (no taxi in the bay). Took 2 mins for a truck to stop, Steve and Kyle from Bend Oregon welcomed us to come along with them to Mulege. They dropped us off at the Mission and offered to meet up later in the afternoon for the drive back to Playa Coyote. Such nice folks! So we walked and visited Mulege for a few hours, nice history, old prison converted to Museum, central square, stopped for lunch at El Kulily tacos stand and did a bit of provisioning before meeting Steve and Kyle for the trip back.

That same afternoon, we decided to move a few miles south to Isla Requeson. We anchored on the north side of the island/spit and enjoyed an amazing sunset and had burgers for dinner.
