Posada Concepcion and re-connecting with SIYC friends

On April 24th we left Punta Santo Domingo to go deeper inside Bahia Concepcion. As a result of our previous day's Facebook post about catching a Mackarel, Karen and Mike on SV Somehow mentioned they were anchored in Posada Concepcion so we decided to go meet up with them. It's not everyday you have a chance to meet with other SIYC cruisers in the "remoteness" of the Sea of Cortez. Posada Concepcion was nice, it's central and quiet, that night we invited Karen and Mike for sundowners along with two other boats anchored nearby who were part of this small temporary community (SV Talisman and SV Nani Ola), we had a great time that evening sharing cruisers' stories.
The next morning (4/25) we went hiking up Punta Piedrita (hill next to Santispac) for a amazing 360 view of Bahia Concepcion.
