We made it from Isla San Marcos to Punta Chivato in less than 2 hours. Leaving around 12:30 with a good 15-20 knot “Norter” wind that was still blowing.
We found shelter from the north wind and swells around the same spot as last year, deep into the bay. SV Maraki (John, Lucy and Charlie) was anchored in the bay. They were neighbors on the hard at Cabrales in Puerto Penasco and had splashed and left few days before us.
